has sent me a picture of his "tapered box" IOM. It has pretty
hard chines and low, but not minimum, beam. He says it sails rather
well. The hull is essentially three slabs of plywood. The two sides
flare out from the stem to give a mid-section "V" shape that has the
bottom point of the "V" replaced by the flat rocker.
